Northfield DEI committee mission statement:

We commit to pursuing deliberate effort to ensure that our club is a place where differences are welcomed, different perspectives heard, and where every individual feels a sense of belonging and inclusion. We aim to develop a shared practice of inquiry and a culture of shared responsibility for identifying institutional oppression of minority groups. We recognize that guided by these values we contribute to Rotary’s vision of a world where people unite and take action to create a lasting change.

We value diversity and celebrate the contributions of people of all backgrounds, across age, ethnicity, race, color, disability, learning style, religion, faith, socioeconomic status, culture, marital status, languages spoken, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity as well as differences in ideas, thoughts, values, and beliefs. We work with residents of Northfield to identify collaborative learning, sharing, and service opportunities.
