Exchange students arrive at airport

The Rotary Club of Northfield welcomes five exchange students for the 2025-26 academic year. Hailing from Ethiopia, Finland, Germany, Romania, and Taiwan, they represent their sponsor Rotary clubs, families, as well as their countries.

“This is a valuable opportunity to share our culture with these Rotary ambassadors while also learning as much as we possibly can about their cultures,” said Jesse Steed, Youth Exchange Officer for Northfield Rotary.  “The 11 months we spend together may seem like a long time, but speaking from experience, it’s never enough.”

Northfield Rotary is a global leader in Rotary Youth Exchange, passionately embracing exchange students for decades. In fact, the embrace extends well beyond the year that students spend in Northfield, as evidenced by the testimony of several recent visitors to Northfield. Inbound students from Italy, Brazil, and Germany made recent trips to visit host families and friends in Northfield, much to the delight of Rotarians.
