February 12 Meeting Recording
In this candid presentation Northfield Rotary member Kelli Podracky traces the path that shaped her commitment to youth advocacy and voice, from an early life marked by instability and resilience, to parenting, education, street outreach, and ultimately leading a youth-driven organization. She shares how personal experience shaped her belief that when young people are given stability, safety, and space to be heard, they don’t just survive, they thrive. This talk connects lived experience with purpose-driven work. This talk also focuses on Northfield Union of Youth, including The Key and the Wallflower House, and what happens when young people are trusted, supported, and taken seriously. Kelli talks about what she has witnessed over the last couple years, kids finding their footing, using their voice, graduating, advocating for themselves and others, and why this work continues to matter so deeply to her.
