Northfield Area Family YMCA Executive Director Virginia Kaczmarek received the Marston Headley “Service Above Self” award at a recent Rotary Club of Northfield meeting.
The award is given each year to a member of the club who has donated time and energy to the club and the Northfield community. It was named after long-time member Marston Headley, who was known for his many contributions to the community.
Kaczmarek serves on Northfield’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Steering Committee, the Northfield Hospital Board of Directors and is involved in the Northfield Promise initiative. She also serves as an adjutant of the Northfield American Legion.
