This week the speaker is Joan Somes presenting Recognizing & Mitigating Age-Related Risks to Safe Driving. 

Joan Somes, PhD, RN-BC, FAEN, worked for 40 years as an emergency nurse. She currently works part-time for the MN Dept of Health, MN Dept of Public Safety, Regions Hospital Emergency Medical Services, and as an independent instructor. She is grant manager for the DPS/OTS Older Driver Safety Project. Joan is also a member of the Minnesota Toward Zero Death Coalition.
