At the February 5, 2009 Northfield Rotary Club regular meeting, Jesse James Bike Tour chairman Neil Lutsky presented a check for $20,000 to Peggy Prowe, chair of the Northfield effort to extend the Mill Towns Trail. This impressive gift was made possible by the best-ever Jesse James Bike Tour last September, which in turn was made possible by ideal weather, improved publicity, and of course 100% participation by the members of Northfield Rotary Club.
