Northfield Historical Society

A native of Northfield, MN, Sean graduated from St. Olaf College in 1993 with a BA in
Political Science and a focus on economics and history.Sean was Executive Director of the Northcountry Cooperative Foundation in Minneapolis prior to the pandemic, and since 2022 has been the Executive Director of the Northfield Historical Society. He has served on various boards and commissions inNorthfield, including as Chair of the Northfield Planning Commission, Vice Chair of the Heritage Preservation Commission and currently as a member of both the Economic Development Authority and the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. Sean served on the Northfield City Council for six months in 2022, finishing the term of a member who resigned.
