Redemption Project

As of the Redemption is dedicated to eliminating recidivism through education, mentorship, and employment. They are active in many locations, including Faribault. Odell is the Vice President and COO, responsible for the implementation of the organization's operational plan, management of the organization, and leads communication efforts with corrections facilities and other nonprofit After graduating with Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Penn State University, Odell was employed as a rehabilitation consultant with Sevdy and Locket Rehabilitation Service from 1991 to 1993 and went on to become a Vocational and Educational Counselor at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation from 1993 to 1997. Odell recently worked as a Supervisory Federal Probation and Pretrial Service Officer until his recent retirement after 27 years of service. |

​Inbounds, outbounds, rebounds, Rotex - all are invited to attend an info session during flex in the auditorium. Please spread the word and invite 9th-11th grade students to learn about Rotary Youth Exchange. Rotarians Jill Fisher and Jesse Steed will present long term and short term exchange programs. Rotary Youth Exchange is a live-changing year. Just ask Audrey, Alison, Raine, or Hannah.
On Friday, May 16, these four Rotex (previous exchange students) will share their exciting stories during a presentation at Northfield High School. Current 9th-11th grade students are invited to attend during flex to hear about how they may immerse themselves in a foreign culture for a short term summer program or a full year on Rotary Youth Exchange.
The Rotary Club of Northfield has had a dynamic Youth Exchange program since 1969 sending 300+ students outbound to dozens of countries. We are proud of our students and in the way that this community has supported them. We are firm believers that we are changing lives and creating world peace through this wonderful program. We look forward to sending more 15-19 year olds in the future and being hosts to students from around the world that come to live with us.
Rotary Youth Exchange is more than part of our story. It is our legacy.

Dinner followed by a short program will include introductions and opportunities to support our outbounds as they go abroad this summer and our inbounds as they prepare to return to their home countries.
