The Northfield Rotary Club hosts “To India and Back” February 25, 2012 at the Northfield Middle School. Journey to India for an evening! Explore its people, arts, culture, and food, while supporting Youth Exchange in Northfield.

Stroll through a street fair from 5-7, enjoy Indian cuisine, palm reading, sanskrit and art, and experience traditional dance and Bollywood music from 7-9.

Tickets are $20. All proceeds benefit the Northfield Rotary Youth Exchange.

The Northfield Rotary Club, with special thanks to Dokmo Ford-Chrysler, is giving away a 2011 Chrysler 200 on October 22, 2011. Tickets will be $20 each and only 3,000 tickets will be sold.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press recently published a special supplement to celebrate the Rotary Club of St. Paul’s centennial and 100 years of Rotary in Minnesota. The St. Paul club was chartered on February 19, 1910, a day after the Minneapolis club.  “This means that out of the 32,000 Rotary Clubs in the world, the Twin Cities is home to two of the original 10.”

This informative publication, which appeared March 2, highlights many of the accomplishments of Rotary District 5960 and its member clubs, including the Rotary Club of Northfield.
