Speaker

Olszewski. — A Scrabble player’s dream. Twenty-five points on its own, 50 if you hit a double word score. But alas, it is a proper name, so no go.

Jerry Olszewski is the coach of the St. Olaf football team. He came to the Oles with a wealth of coaching experience. A native of Wisconsin, he is an unapologetic Packer Backer. He thinks as much about leadership and mentoring as he does about offense and defense. His calling is to use the four years he has to develop some pretty good 18-year old boys into solid 22-year old men. His goal is to point them on the road to being great husbands, great fathers and great community servants.

Jerry and his wife Dina have three children, two girls and a boy. His roster of about 100 includes players from 13 different states, 61 from Minnesota. Go Oles.
