2010 Marston Headley Service Above Self Award Deadline April 15

April 13, 2010

The Marston Headley Service above Self Award is given each year to a member of the club who has given of their time and energy to make the club a success and to recognize strong involvement in the community.  Started by Rotary International 30 years ago, the Northfield chapter began to award it in 1988.  About a decade ago, the local award was renamed in honor of Marston Headley, a long-time member, past club president and secretary for many years.  Marston served as a city librarian and was known for his many contributions to the Northfield community.

This award is given each year to a member of the club who has given of her/his time and energy to make this Club a success and also for strong involvement in the community.

The past three year’s winners choose the newest recipient. We need your help in nominating this year’s winner.

Please return your nomination to Vicki Dilley, Candy Taylor, John Stull, or Peggy Prowe by April 15.  To help in the selection of this year’s winner, it would be very helpful to have some detail in your reasons for your choice of your particular nominee.

If you need more information, please feel free to call Candy Taylor at 507-581-3017 for more details.  Further pages of praise are welcome.

A downloadable nomination form is available here.
